Bible followers are so intent on believing that plagues were sent to Egypt by a "more powerful" God than the Egyptian Gods. This belief is rather ludicrous to me. This would be assuming that a Pharoah who enslaved a race of people actually had the blessings of the Egyptian Gods in the first place. The truth is, all the Pharoahs swore an oath to Ma'at to uphold justice and fairness. To do such a thing would be to blatantly break that oath. To me, it would be more a case of bad karma falling upon those who approved of such actions. The Egyptian Gods and Goddesses are very much a part of the Divine, and should not be treated as though they were some Demonic force. These beliefs sow the seeds of discrimination and a false belief of superiority over another. They detract from the fact that we are all one, and that everything is of the Divine. While it can be seen as a story of right triumphing over wrong, it misses the mark with the implication that one race of people is favored over another, further dividing people rather than uniting them. That much is not so much Holy, but more of a shame.
