Sex is a popular topic that is talked about amongst adults. In the 20^th century, sex has been a major topic discussed amongst adolescents as well.  Research has revealed that not only is it discussed amongst teenagers but they also engage in sexual activity. Since research reveals current sexual activity amongst teenagers, is there a statistical racial difference in the likelihood of sexual activity? Researchers have studied the prevalence of the adolescents engaging in sexual intercourse and causes of sexual behavior amongst adolescents. In this paper, there will be a review on some of that research, a discussion describing what this topic means to me and the implications of adolescent sexual behaviors in the social work field.
