   The Day of the Knights, a 426-page modern epic novel that pits the evil of Italian savant Domenico Patriani, a homophobic religious-fanatic serial killer who manages to become a church deacon, versus the good of inner-city American Thomas “Tank” Tooley, an investigative reporter and volunteer firefighter who becomes a hero of 9/11, has been released by PublishAmerica. 

   In-depth sub-stories of key Patriani and Tooley family members lend tender balance to the savagery and provide insights into how the characters and moral-compasses of the evil Domenico and the noble Tank were forged.

   The western North Carolina resident, a multiple award winning writer, poet and journalist, has won numerous writing and editing awards, including Best Column in All Divisions from the New Jersey Press Association, the Award of Distinction from the National Communicators, and magazine honors from Explorer, Lifeglow, Prolific Writer and Listen.
