I don't think so that this article needs a summary. This is a problem faced universally by women of every caste and cadre , every age and of different degrees of calibre.

Rape - Physical assualt on women to rag her virginity for sensual pleasures without the consent of women.

I want to share an Unforgettable story with you all. It is not a story but the real life incident. I read it in the Sunday Edition of a Daily by name "Eenaadu" which means "Today" in English. I forget about the war and the countries involved. But it reveals a pathetic story of a woman who became a captive of the winning side soldiers when she was a girl.

She was a very active girl who is very interested in Painting. She was hardly 15 when the war declared. Her country was defeated. One day soldiers came to her village and asked everyone to come out of their homes and lined up woman from 13 to 28 yrs of age. They selected some girls among them and she was one.

From that day onwards she served them for their sexual needs. She was locked in a room and there is no escape and also no scope for her even to suicide. Daily all the soldiers one after the other uses her. She prayed to God everyday to be freed from that hell. After some time,(I didn't remember the duration) she became pregnant. The Doctor who tested her and said her that, raped her after the checkup.

At last, she came out of that hell. She gave birth to a baby girl. Her only wish has been to get her daughter married. Now she is old and her daughter got married to a beautiful young man. I read it when I was in school , may be in 7th standard I suppose. I could never forget her pathetic story. For the first time, I get a hatred feeling for such soldiers.

We find these cases everywhere. Especially in India and in my state Andhra Pradesh, it seems people are habituated to these kinds of news. So shocking is, even 3 months old kids are also not being spared and the 65 year old women are also not safe. Fathers rape their daughters and sons try to rape their mother. Those who do these kind of acts were from 12 to 80 age group among men. I am neither lying nor exaggerating. These are true facts.
