Many years ago, the late 70's throughout the mid-1980's, Sage Sweetwater made her living from professional photography; to include still-life, nature, pyrotechnics, (colored smoke bombs for stage acts ) erotic stage props for strip clubs, and erotic nudes. Sage owned a bubble machine and a fogger. The fogger and bubble machine she employed on stage with the strippers for their act...like the Lawrence Welk Champagne Bubbles.
Sage Sweetwater decided one day to also purchase a china plate machine which glazes photos on china plates. Boring it was just to have a photographed glazed in Sage's "china portrait" machine. Bikers began inquiring about a decompauge-like artwork they would like glazed on their Harley-Davidson motorcycle gas tanks. Sage began to take photos and sell them to "glaze imprint" the everlasting photography on the motorcycle gas tanks. A process which involves a chemical process and a shelac overcoat to preserve the photo. These are the photos Sage Sweetwater has done on these gas tanks. The Seductive Sunset background was shot by Sage using a Minolta XG-7 camera with filter attachments and trick photography where she superimposed the model upon her copper sunset background. The original sunset photo by Sage was published by Lifestyles Publishers Division of Spelts-Bailey, Inc. in the early 80's. The publication published three of Sage's photo's, this marvelous sunset, a shot of kayakers shooting the Arkansas River whitewater rapids, and a photo Sage took of Pikes Peak.
