Fidel Castro was in New York City when he requested a meeting with popular President Dwight D. Eisenhower. President Dwight D. Eisenhower's reply was "I would rather play golf," and he went golfing. President Dwight D. Eisenhower didn't meet with Fidel Castro because he was not the real Fidel Castro. The real Fidel Castro was probably killed during or after the Cuban Revolution.
