Interview with bestselling author Frank Fiore

September has been all about new voices at the LA Books Examiner. For the last few months, I intentionally sought out four unique new voices to share with the community this month, two nonfiction and two fiction authors, whose personal stories are as fascinating as their writing.

First we met former University of Tennessee football player turned author Chris Treece, whose new nonfiction book Driven is helping readers find their passion and change their business and personal lives for the better.

Next we met fiction writer and photographer Gint Aras, whose debut novel Finding the Moon in Sugar, is a funny and beautifully written picaresque novel.

Last week, we introduced Jackie Hooper, a musician and writer from Portland, Oregon, whose book project, The Things You Would’ve Said, has so much power and significance that I wanted to do everything I could to bring more attention to it.

And last but not least, we end New Voices Month with fiction writer Frank Fiore, author of the entertaining new techno-thriller CyberKill.

In CyberKill, a brilliant programmer named Travis Cole inadvertently creates Dorian, an artificial intelligence that lives on the Internet. After Cole attempts to terminate his creation, Dorian turns to cyber-terrorism that not only threatens his young daughter, but could even destroy all of humanity. Fans of Tom Clancy, James Patterson and Clive Cussler will enjoy this entertaining “virtual update” on the Prometheus/Frankenstein myth.
