This is a repost of the posting I did to the poetry section but it has been edited slighly and chords added...so anyone ones to give it go....

Heart to Heart (Song)

G Strumming softly on my six string

C Like I swore I’d never do

D Singing my heart out in a song

C Cause I’m so in love with G you

Strum a chord to see your eyes smile

C Sing words right from my heart

D Ones that make you cry and sigh

C As the lyrics tell their G part

G Old love songs in country format

C Picked out so lovingly

D Ones I sing to hold your heart

C That you gave so willing G ly

Chorus: G My guitar’s a little out of tune

C My voice is way off key

D You tell me it don’t matter baby

C Cause you’re so in love with G me

G The bills stack up on the table

C The weather’s cold and wet outside

D Yet when I sing my songs for you

C I forget all the nights we G cried

G Oh baby you know I love you

C Do anything to show I care

D all I have are these songs

C Send with love across the G air
