The Story of time being or era or age.
The Four Yugas (ages)
There are four Yuga as described in Hinduism. The first yuga is called Satya Yuga. The word 'Satya' means 'truthfullness'. Everybody would be honest, educated as well as respectfull. There would not be sin to disturb people and every leaving creature. Even the nature speaks, sings and dances in happyness. The avarage life of human beings would be one hundred thousand years in this yuga. The age of this yuga would be 1,728,000 years.
The second yuga is called as Treta Yuga. This yuga (time) also called silver age. The process of self realization is the performance of opulent sacrifices. As written in Hinduism, many more kings gained power by many years Tapa (meditation). The lord Rama incarnated to kill the most powerful king of sins of Lanka. The average life is ten thousand years. The age of this yuga is 1,296,000 years.
The third yuga is called as Dwapara Yuga. This yuga also called bronze age. The process of self realization is the worship of the deities within temples. Godly qualities are reduced to fifty percent by now and the agerage life is one thousand years only. The Kansa including many more monster kings were borned in this yuga. Their only acts were to disturb people, kill and eat human beings. So, the lord Krishna incarnated to kill all of them. The lord Krishna taught the people to love each other. So, the lord Krishna is worshiped as the lord of love, too. There is very beautiful love story of the couple of 'Radha-Krishna'. The age of this Dwapara Yuga is 864,000 years.
The forth and the last yuga is called Kali Yuga. This is also called as iron age. This age is full of quarrels, wars and many more sins. This age is also taken as black age in the universe. The God consciousness is reduced to twenty five percent of the populationa and life expectancy is only hundred years. We have been living in Kali Yuga now. The people seems expecting peace leaving other necessities behind. So, many incarnations of God are supposed to come to the earth in this age. Many holy sages have been sacrificing their time to preach the people to make to feel them to be in peace of mind. There is the truth of tenth incarnation of Vishnu (Narayan) is lord Buddha (born in Nepal) in this age. Such as some holy sages like Christ, Sai Baba, Swami Amritananda, Kabi Pd. Gautam, Swami Kripalu ji Maharaja etc have already come to the earth. The ages of five thousand years is already passed away. When the average life of people will be only twenty years and start eating only meat, this age will end. The age of Kali Yuga is 432,000 years.
