We have focusing on the fact that God has good plans for our lives in seven-day devotional "Pursuing God's Purpose".

When we recognize this good pla, we need to cooperate with God’s purpose for us in order to see it come to pass. Even more we must recognize that God provides us with all we need to achieve fully was he has purposed for us.

We look today at how God provides the right persons at the right to help you along your journey in purpose. It is very necessary, though, to seek and be sensitive to God’s guidance to avoid making decisions that are contrary to his plans. Guard against finding help from in the wrong place and outside God’s timing.

Scripture:

2 Chronicles 16:1-9

For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him” (2 Chronicles 16:9).

Devotional Focus

As we walk in the purpose God assigns for use, he provides the connections we need to achieve the goals he sets for us. In my own experience, God used people to provide the answers I need in special ways.

I was an international student, who went to the United States each summer on residency. For two of the three residencies God provided homes for me to stay with no cost to me. Today, I honor one of my professors and another student and her family who listened to the voice of God and graciously invited me to stay in their homes.

God provided the resources I needed at those times using these precious people. But he also used me a source of blessings in their own lives during our interactions. It is important, then, that we are open to God using us in other people’s life.

Always remember though, that while God uses people as instruments of provision, your eyes should not be focused on getting help from them. Your focus should be on God who is your source of all supply of total supply. God is looking out for you, ready and set to strengthen and bless you.

Today’s Reflections

Spend sometime today and prayerfully meditate on God’s Word. Confess areas in which you have wavered and doubted God’s ability to help you. Then ask him to give you a heart that is fully committed to him.

Prayer

“Our Father, I thank you that your eyes are set towards me; looking to strengthen and bless me. You have already provided all I need to walk in your purpose. Give me the confidence to trust you to provide the divine connections I need at this time. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
