Notes from – Obama Nation – Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality – By: Jerome R. Corsi, Ph. D.. - compiled by D. Kenneth Ross
My major conclusion of Corsi’s book is that he is reasonably generous in giving Obama the benefit of the doubt where there are obvious discrepancies in Obama’s memoir, Dreams of my Father.
Most critical, in my thinking in the memoir, is the man’s almost contrived reasoning to give him an excuse for his lack of trust of ‘whites’ due to his deciding to portray his Grandmother’s fear of a black pan-handler’s rage less credibly than the rage he assumed the pan handler was feeling--- really bogus when you think about how little he actually knew about the pan-handler, and what he did know about his grandmother’s fear, knowing how she had always treated him, the financial sacrifices she made for him and the obvious fact she had made his life as comfortable as she possibly could while he grew up. One has to interpret this to mean he loved her, or at least, should have.
Even if you believe he had good reason to feel this way at that particular time in his life with the confusion he felt with both his mother and father abandoning him, by the time he wrote the memoir---1991--- he was thirty years old, his maturity should have reached a level where he had a better understanding of what was a typical fear she felt. If the man accosted her as he states, for most women, the fear would have been genuine whether the man was black or white. His decision, therefore, appears arbitrary and divisive for his own needs and justification, and most likely for political intentions. (my opinion).
Obama’s connections to the far left segment of the Chicago Political machine should be enough for anyone seriously concerned with the ‘Destroy America politics of the extreme left whether in Chicago or anywhere else to not only question his intentions as our President, but to be downright frightened of him. He is in no way simply content to be a rabble-rouser or sympathizer of sorts as a Progressive Democrat. In my opinion he is a trained Political hit-man, meaning he has every intent of bringing down the ‘American Dream’ as we are all told he is dedicated to ‘changing.’ His idea of changing the dream is to obliterate it and put into place a system of ‘government-social-bureaucracy and highly regulated government controlled businesses utilizing union controlled employees as tools of the eastern (like) bloc proletariat countries similar to that of Poland and Yugoslavia, and including his utilization of redistribution of wealth. One could easily draw the conclusion he is a ‘closet’ communist. Harsh words? Yes. Any truth? Look at his connections to people like Wm. Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn, Rashid Khalicki, Jerry Kellman and Alice Palmer, to name just a few. Need I forget Frank Marshal Davis, Obama’s high school mentor when he lived in Hawaii, a communist and journalist and poet. Who better to give him the angry Black youth persona he was desperately in search of for the disappointment he felt for parents who seemed to consider him subordinate to their careers and educational needs.
With his belief in blocking any legislation to improve border protection, Obama comes down consistently on the side of methods which implement amnesty programs that seemingly put illegal aliens in line to become legal voters before becoming legal citizens ?! One of his OFFICIAL bloggers, Sam Graham-Felsen, a self proclaimed student of Karl Marx and another Harvard graduate--- Class of 2003--- writing in ‘Socialist Viewpoint,’ and a follower of radical MIT Professor, Noah Chamsky, admirers of Obama as an Anti-War advocate and seems to hate what most Americans love. Most particularly the idea that we believe in a strong military to reinforce our willingness to fight for ours and other’s freedom.
Though he eventually chose the Black Liberation -–- Christian Theology version--- his upbringing was without heavy emphasis of religiosity, according to his own words in his memoir. His choice appears to be one of expedience in that the Black Liberation Christian philosophy as espoused by Rev. Jeremiah Wright, seemed to be a good fit for his belief that he could use all the inequities that black-African -Americans suffered (as their leaders always tell them) at the hands of the ultra-rich white people. This is also reinforced by Malcolm X’s Muslim theology. The dominating theme being similar in that the black man has always been plagued by white-oppression and slavery.
Conclusions and other thoughts
One must bear in mind that the core of Corsi’s book was to demonstrate how Barack Obama’s campaign should have been handled by John McCain’s campaign as he opposed him in the 2008 Presidential election. As effective as the book is, it did not work!
Something went horribly wrong for the American Democratic Party to have picked a Presidential candidate who has attached himself to people who financially backed him for reasons when analyzed, demonstrate a hidden hatred of America’s history and belief’s. How this was handled by the right wing of the Republican conservative establishment should be the basis of intense study for the RNC and all other legitimate groups intending to spend any kind of money to oppose Obama this year and win. Was McCain so confident of victory he neglected a thorough vetting of his opponent for the Presidency, as did the Mainstream Media who simply gave him a free pass with their obvious left leaning bias? We must find hope in someone who is a strong conservative and supporter of the ‘Free Market’ system, and who can actually lead and not follow in ‘foreign affairs.
How this is handled will determine the future of the United States as a super-power, our continued belief in and strict use of our bedrock Constitution of the United States, as well as the type of government that will dominate our country in the future. This means time is already working against all that needs be done.
At this point we cannot allow ourselves the room for mistakes in how we view this man, Obama. Forget where he may or may not have come from, forget what religion he may or not subscribe to, forget the countless deflections he uses to hide truthful answers to questions that should be answered, the camera needs to be on him in his own mind, so let it be so! The more the camera is on him and the more the microphone is in his hands, the more his weaknesses will destroy him. His smooth speeches are beginning to show what he really believes and what he truly believes about the American people and what he thinks the American Dream is and how he intends to use it to destroy the country he professes to love.
As the carefully painted veneer is peeled back layer by layer what is emerging is a socialistic government which is based as much on Hitler’s Nationalist Socialist Society and Stalin’s Union of Soviet Socialist Republic. (again, my belief). There is absolutely no room for a ‘Free Market” in his style of government. Examine how he has handled the same people he criticizes as being the enemies of the Free Market and you will note these are the same people he keeps bailing out with taxpayer money. Examine how he talks about reaching across the aisle and working together with the same people he locks out of a late night meeting to pass a health bill that nobody, not even his own party has read. Examine how he keeps telling us how bad the budget bill presented by the house of Representatives and Committee Budget Chairman Paul Ryan is, and yet, at the same time, it is now almost three years since the Senate, led by Democrat Harry Reid, has refused to come out with the Democrat, majority Senate version of a budget. Why is that?
Mr. Obama keeps telling us how much better we look in the eyes of the world because of his Foreign Affairs policy of appeasement for countries like Iran, and Syria and, his belief that he can tell Israel how long they should wait before doing what they will need to do with Iran, with us, or without us. Examine how he is quite ready to take credit for the death of Osama Bin Laden without giving George W. Bush, the President who he has criticized and blamed for all of his problems to this day, but under whose direction the tracing of Bin Laden, and the strategy for taking him down made it possible to happen, he gives no credit whatsoever.
He may get some mild kudos for these European appeasement moves from the French and maybe even Spain, but what he is getting from China and Russia are behind the back snickers. He is not being hailed as the New Ghandi as some progressives seem to think.
The Conservative Right should know its time to galvanize, and put an end to the most ineffectual leader the United States has ever had. It would be a tragedy if it were only that he is incompetent. But, it is unforgiveable since the whole debacle is planned as a strategy to literally bring down the world’s greatest experiment in freedom up to this point.
Corsi has done a great job in outlining what should have been done four years ago. Why nobody listened back then is a very good question to start with. We cannot afford to make the same mistakes this election or it may well be the last one we have.
This book should be read by every serious Political Science student and Economics hopeful. What happened in 2008 should never ever be allowed to happen again in the free world’s history.
When one considers that a presidential candidate is allowed to publish a memoir that uses fictional characters, made up in place of actual characters that might be able to shed truth on what the real facts are, and phony scenes as well, it appears as though this is not a serious memoir of a powerfully driven candidate, but a promotional piece meant to deflect any purposeful, media reporting other than to implant distorted facts.
