The 2012 Dillard Bluegrass and Barbecue Festival will be the 14th annual celebration. The Festival offers great bluegrass music by nationally famous musicians. In addition, the Barbecue competition attracts chefs and their crews from around the nation. They arrive in their rolling stainless stell kithens with air conditioning, fancy smokers and their secret rubs and sauces. The grounds are filled with the scent of wood smoke and the sights of smokey pork, brisket and other meats.

The 2012 Dillard Bluegrass and Barbecue Festival looks to be the best yet with Bluegrass bands from around the country. Also, the slate of Barbecue competitors is already filled, with many returning winners from past events. The winner of the Georgia State Championship at the 2012 Dillard Bluegrass and Barbecue Festival gets to proceed to the National Championship in Kansas City.
