THE CORNISH WOMAN grew out of a short story I'd once written.  I spent several weeks in the fishing villages of Cornwall, soaking up the atmosphere.  I consulted historians, fishermen and many other local people.  Further research took me into many other varied areas.  Louise Schweitzer (author and literary agent) wrote: 'Rosena Bray is a beautiful, impetuous heroine.  Fate hurls her between the three men in her life with every manner of complication.'  She is orphaned by storm, cruelly betrayed by the man she loves, trapped in a runaway marriage, and ensnared in a whirlpool of murder and intrigue.
