The Nation is both angry and sad at the same time.
The crowds continue to gather on the streets of the Capital, and other cities.
The newspapers and TV channels are discussing nothing else.
The politician is thinking about how she/he can score some brownie points.
Some idiots without any grounding in reality open their mouths, and promptly put their feet in.
The rapists are wondering how they were caught so quickly.
The police continue to obey political masters, and use force on the people they are paid to protect.
Chief Ministers are “protected” from the people they represent.
All crocodiles in the country want to sue politicians for impersonating them on television. And yes, for defamation as well.
I feel utterly helpless, as do many people known to me, who just want a peaceful life.
Maybe the feeling of utter helplessness precedes definitive action by the people, which could lead to good things in the future.
Maybe once again the sun will shine, the birds will sing, the flowers will bloom, and we will celebrate life.
Maybe once again we will be a free people.
