With the American Society for Quality Control, I visited the Fremont plant in 1968. They were only building Mavericks at that time. My dad, who bought many cars over a lifetime, had a Maverick (used––I convinced him to buy used cars after he wasted a lot of money on new ones) once and really liked that a lot, sold it to my brother-in-law.
Tesla is a breakthrough company with a fantastic electric car. I hope it catches on in all cars are electric very soon.
