I decided, since I was meeting so many celebrities, to begin an autograph collection for my sons. Elvis always kept a number of 8×10, autographed photos at the front desk to give to his fans. So. I figured I might as well begin the collection with him. That evening I asked him if he would inscribe one of the photographs to my two sons Steve and Ralph. I explained that I was going to start a collection for them. He said he would be happy to but I should wait until he got home and he would send me something nice from there. I said, “Please, don’t go to any trouble, the publicity photo would be fine.” He laughed and said, “Leave it to me will ya?”
I forgot about it and about two weeks later I received this large mailing tube. I anxiously opened it and enclosed were these two fantastic portraits, looked like water color or pastel, of Elvis at his peak. Each signed to one of my sons. I was shocked at his generosity and thoughtfulness in my behalf. It’s so special for a star of his magnitude to take the time to do such a thoughtful thing.
Many years later I had the posters beautifully framed with a plaque attached commemorating the event. I then gave them to my two sons to keep and pass on in our family as prized heirlooms.

This book is a collection of short stories that depict events in Author's life while she lived in Romania, then in Greece, and last in America. It's a beautiful and very sincere account of a young woman's life and comming to age.
