In order to stop playing small and step into your greatness, you must have a healthy attitude about your self-worth.

Do you think of yourself as worthy? I have spoken to many women, who have been held back from pursuing their goals and dreams, only to discover that for some, the root cause was low self-worth. I have been guilty of this myself. Have you ever wanted to play big in life and work, but did not go for it because you felt you were not good enough, smart, enough, pretty enough or have enough? Maybe you have all of those attributes and still fell like you are still not enough. Believing that other people have something that you just did not have.  What exactly is self-worth? According to the dictionary, self-worth is the sense of one's own value or worth as a person: self-esteem; self-respect.

In order to stop playing small and step into your greatness, you must have a healthy attitude about your self-worth. You must value yourself as a person and feel that you are deserving before you will even allow yourself to consider believing that what you want to accomplish in your life is possible.

What are some signs that you may be experiencing low self-worth?

  • Self-condemnation
  • Inability to forgive self
  • Pessimistic outlook on life
  • Depressed
  • Negative self-talk
  • Speaking in terms of should of, could, of, would of.
  • Over or under eating, working, achieving
  • Blaming others
  • Self-neglect
  • Afraid to take risk
  • Preoccupied with past events, mistakes

Having low self-worth and low self-esteem will keep you from believing in yourself and your abilities. Low self-worth will keep you living in the pit of life and stop you from becoming the person that you are created to be. So what can you do about it?

You can take charge of your life, increase your self-worth and go for it, pursue your big dreams.

7 Ways to Increase You're Self-Worth

  1. Take control of your life
  2. Accept yourself for who you are
  3. Believe in yourself
  4. Discover your purpose
  5. Set small goals that are within your immediate reach
  6. Learn a new skill, do something you have always wanted to do
  7. Forgive yourself

Right now say to yourself, I'm worthy, I deserve the best in life. I will do all that I can to discover and live my life's purpose. I can reach my goals. I am taking control of my life, I will play big and win.

I'm praying for your success!
