Neville advises: manage your psychological drama and warns: if you don’t others will manage it for you. The drama of your mind forms and shapes your inner life experiences that externalize into your physical reality.

In a couple of earlier articles I talked about certain concerns and how these changed my atmosphere. I enjoy playing around with and testing the impact of various concepts on my subsequent actions. I talked about moving in consciousness from being concerned to being the power of consciousness giving expression to the energy and light of the elevated emotions – love and appreciation. Well from experience I knew to expect something I had not seen previously. After seeing recent news reports I realized I had to work diligently with myself to get beyond the shackles of concern and worry. My son, two 20-something grandsons and great-grandson by virtue of their existence were considered vulnerable to institutional oppression. I asked myself in so many ways, “How could I possibly think from the perspective of elevated emotions?” I have no interest in Pollyanna approaches. Yet being aware of myself as the power of consciousness giving expression to whichever possibilities I choose, how could I ever worry about the men in my family? A little voice tried to get my attention, saying, “You better face reality!” At this point all the teachings I had practiced, bringing me to the awareness of my identity as the power of consciousness rushed upon me. Arranging the contents of my consciousness was one of my common practices. Many times I had rescripted the characters in the drama of my mind. And I knew I was the only one who could orchestrate my psychological drama. Further, I had ongoing practice in effectively creating inner life experiences that played out in my physical reality. This seeming dilemma gave rise to selective thinking especially about my 21-year old grandson. I brought his image on to the stage of my mind and studied the emotions he was expressing. These days I focus on emotions taking notice of the experiences they produce. I neither justified nor condemned his expressions. Instead, I recognized, “These expressions represent but one of countless possibilities available to him”. Then I contemplated his access to infinite possibilities. I thought about my grandson from the perspective of having infinite possibilities available to him and I studied his reactions to being aware of this phenomenon. In other words, I asked, “How would my grandson handle himself if he was conscious of always having infinite possibilities available in any situations?” To really capture the essence of this event, I played back and forth with it – what he was like thinking his current experiences were his only possibilities and what he was like knowing his possibilities were endless. The difference in these two perspectives was outstanding, leaving me with no questions. Just thinking of my grandson considering which of numberless options to choose for any circumstances, I shifted to the elevated emotions of serenity and joy. I had done what Neville taught – rearranged the contents of my consciousness and reorganized my psychological drama, giving my grandson infinite possibilities from which to shape his experiences. In my inner life experience, he was so joyous and comfortable with himself. And I knew from repeated practice what to expect.
