How I changed in the way I use affirmations

From my first experiences with metaphysics, I excitedly “said” affirmations and from Unity I spoke denials. Some teachers taught to repeat a specific number of affirmations – such as 20 or 50 or even 100, claiming my desire already fulfilled. Talking with others using affirmations, I found very few if any obtained meaningful results, regardless of the number of affirmations. I’m sure some must have benefited from the use of affirmations – it was such a popular trend. Eventually I noticed, especially after applying information I gained about programming and the beliefs ruling my thinking, I could use affirmations to reprogram my thinking. I saw how easy it was to use denials to start the process of deprogramming my thinking from certain beliefs. From information I obtained from quantum communication I organized my processes for programming my thinking and with information from neurobiology I gave meaning to concepts I used through the process. Although I use the word “learner” and “learning” in my program of conscious storytelling, I no longer buy into learning processes as I experienced earlier. Likely I will give the process a new name. Learning as I had earlier experienced involves absorbing or obtaining or gathering new information. Now the most I do now is activate concepts so they become part of my living and being and I assist others in doing the same. The simple truth I buy into is this: I have infinite concepts within my being and I activate selected concepts I choose to experience. I choose one or a combination of concepts to form an affirmation and then I use the affirmation to program my thinking, establishing the process for changing my experience. Information I draw from neurobiology is very simple. When I came upon the information about programming my thinking I also found explanations on how the brain is wired. Finding it is an ongoing process – that I am constantly programming my thinking and wiring my brain – the process soon enthralled me. Impressed by messages I sent my cells when in the survival mode causing sickness and disease and in the creative mode promoting health and wellbeing, I found I use my thinking to wire my brain, and I could choose how I think. Upon examining my thinking – suggested by a metaphysician I studied years ago – I found my programming was largely in the survival mode. Using affirmations without dismissing earlier programming was ineffective. Contemplating creative concepts provided the means to offset significant aspects of survival programming, preparing my mind for the affirmations. It was as though my mind was a field I groomed with concepts of the creative mode. The topic I contemplate does not matter: my thinking affects my health. Trying to survive I set my body up for sickness and disease, causing the release of stress-laden chemicals in the brain and body. Counterbalancing survival programming with creative processes I alter the dynamics within my being leading to improved health: I cause the release of pleasure-producing chemicals in the brain and body. Contemplating affirmations until I generate feelings that represent the sense of fulfillment and cause the release of pleasure-producing chemicals. Just knowing this takes me to a new level with affirmations.
