Well, it is the one sentence summary that I give when I'm asked to sum up Blind Influence in one sentence.
I started writing Blind Influence back in 1979. I had just started my 26 year career at Procter and Gamble. Each day that I stepped into the office, I felt my creativity starting to wane. It was necessary to pack away that side of my creative brain to think more business-like. I had to start writing. I had to start painting. I had to keep that part, the most essential part of me, alive! Now after all those years, I'm now the creative entrepreneur I always wanted to be!
Blind Influence is a suspense story of a strong, sexy female named Nicole Charbonneau. In this novel, you are thrown into Nicole's life and how she becomes involved in the lives of two very different men in one horrifying night. She didn't know walking into the Washington, DC nightclub that she would leave that night with her life completely changed. She is a successful attorney, well known in DC, walking into the nightclub. She is escorted out by an FBI agent and driven to the home of a very powerful senator with ties to the intelligence community. What would happen to Nicole in the days to come? Who did she meet in the nightclub that will change her life? Will Nicole be able to stay alive to tell people the tale in the years to come?
As the plot twists and turns, the characters you get to know surprise you and will keep you on your toes. I don't want to post spoilers because that ruins the fun as you turn each page It is a spy novel with political intrigue. It is an easy read with an emphasis on the characters and their relationships. There is mystery, suspense and thrilling scenes throughout that, according to my readers, keeps you on the edge of your seat.
