When Frank's wife entered an assisted living facility, she left their photograph collection in my custody. Nearly twenty years later, it is time for me to downsize; but there is one album that I cannot throw away.
I liked Frank Justin; but I now realize that I did not know much about his past. His old photo album speaks for itself.
We need to get all of those photo scanned and appropriately labeled so that future generations of these families will know what their ancestors actually lived like. Photo albums were the social media of the 20th century. When we throw away a photo album, we throw away history.
