The priory of Zion. The civilian wing serving in the darkest ages of medieval Europe. The Knights Templar serving as the priory's military wing. Sent to protect the land where Jesus trod, now inhabited by Moslems, reigned over by Saladin . Or so that's what they would have you believe.
What were the Knights Templar priory of Zion REALLY seeking in the land where the Master trod? Now guarded by the legions of Mohammed. This series of crusades which we as boys cheered, some of us as men still do. A closer look however proves the Knights Templar came out on the losing end of these, I count 9 crusades of the Dark ages. Winston Churchill himself once remarked King Richard Lionhearted was a superior soldier but a terrible administrator. Saladin was a far better King than Richard. What were the Knights Templar after? A "magical" sarcophagus of some mysterious enigmatic woman? The ark of the covenant from the Old Covenant? Dependent on your time in history , when you are deemed a satanist by the papacy, it is variant as to how much trouble you are in.
