DO NOT GET TOO CAUGHT UP

The magnificence of the sunrise jolted my mind. Unknowingly, I was immediately transported into a familiar realm. Worries do not seem to trouble me anymore. I have finally returned.

The night before, I had a dream. I was held by many hands, with fingers pointing in my direction, straight to my nose. He's the one! Fear gripped my heart. What have I done? It couldn't be so serious. Still, the voices disgruntled me. It kept bugging me.

I tried to find my escape route but I was really in another time zone. I was perturbed but I kept my composure. I just knew I had to be strong and not give up. A way out could definitely be within sight.

I gathered all my strength and shouted "Lord, help me!" I woke up to my joy of being delivered from the insanely, torturous, bad dream. In a quick glimpse, I found myself staring at the window.

I was awoken by the morning breeze, blowing gently onto my face. The melody of a bird singing gaily confirmed my doubt. "I'm back", I whispered. The sight of a canary that has, without fail, been visiting me daily gave me all the assurance I needed. I felt relieved.

The experience of "the soul floating away from the body" is not an easy phenomenon to comprehend. The unexplained happening usually tires the body much. Upon waking up, restlessness remains for a moment but it could just be another effect of a bad hair day. On a personal note, it's just another version of sleep-walking!
