While other Christian denominations are enjoying unprecedented prosperity across America, it seems as though the Primitive Baptists are in decline. Over a span of 40 -60 years there have been 2 closings per year of Progressive Primitive Baptist Churches nationwide. Other churches and denominations don't have this problem. Why? For example, what can we offer young people? We can offer them the teaching of The Word of God as is. But it seems as though99of 100 want some 6 piece rock group with instruments and speakers blasting at full volume. While the old hymns of Zion are ignored, the Progressive modernistic church marches merrily along. I have a great fear of the future of the church I have known and loved so very long. That future not being bright at all. May the will of God be done
