The power and authority in personal declarations.

Often in declaring my stand when I feel or sense opposition from the enemy,I will declare to the"father of lies" 1 John 4:4.

It is written:
"You are from GOD, little children,and you have conquered them,because the greater ONE who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world."

In seeking GOD about spiritual authority,I received this revelation:
We say, even yell to the devil forces, declarations that really should be preceded by personal affirmations to ourselves.
Why?
1. SO then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of GOD.
Romans 10:17
2. For my mouth tells the truth and wickedness is detestable to my lips
Proverbs 8:7
Now consider how often one may buy into,print out,write in journals and repeat aloud and often,
declarations "prescribed" by
motivational speakers,and even horoscpes.
The truth, the timeless truth is that the best prescription we can ever receive is found in the Holy Spirit infused and inspired scriptures
And we need to give ourselves a healthy dose each and every day that we abide,watch and pray in the spiritual authority we have been given.
The prayer of a righteous person is powerful in its effect.
James 5:16
