Nowadays in 2023, there seems to be a Little Free Library or a neighborhood Book Exchange practically everywhere. A great idea. I recently took a cruise in the Caribbean and gave away 61 books to people I saw a reading. Almost every one of them greeted me cordially and wanted to know about what I wrote and a bit about me. I did run into one curmudgeon who insisted that I read his favorite science fiction writer that I never heard of. And another couple that shook their heads and shooed me away. Later, a couple reading my storybooks expressed to me how much they enjoyed my stories and wondered how I came up with them.
