And no Hollywood beauty, of which there were many, talked like she did. With that whispery voice that was disarming and so innocent to be charming. I finally got to see The Misfits about a year ago and applauded the way she handled herself at the end in that movie. Telling the others they were wrong to capture wild spirits portrayed by horses, when they all were. The most poignant part of the movie and why it is great… Because of Marilyn's part.
I think of her every time I hear Elton John sing, A Candle in the Wind, not Princess Diana.
