I sold a book!

As I continue along my trek to... let's call it, 'success', I have hit a milestone. I am familiar with this one, as I have sold a few on the previous medium, but it is only fitting to highlight this momentous occasion.

The first step in any journey is the most important one, and on a road more than well traveled, it is even more covetous.

The hope is that word will spread and that more copies will be sold worldwide.

I think I mentioned that it was going to be 50% off before, but I guess I was wrong. Even still, sales are attractive, and having sold a book after such a long drought with Amazon, it feels oh so good.

As for the reason for the title, I do plan to refer to my blog in the title somehow. That way there is no confusion when I do post articles here. I've been slowly binging Star Trek: Discovery lately, and that is today's stardate in case you're wondering. There's a stardate calculator here.

Inspiration has been coming in droves lately. So much so, that I'm having a hard time keeping up with it all. Even random stuff like, "The Curio of Curiosity". A title that sprung into my mind that inspired an idea for a not-so-short story.

It's about a teenage brother and sister that find a curio cabinet in their attic, only it's really a puzzle box.

I've never thought of writing that type of story, but I've already thought of ideas for riddles and parts of how the puzzle box will work mechanically.

I've even envisioned how they will get shrunk and have to play a 'Monument Valley' style game to get to the end stage.

My mind can move down tangents so fast sometimes. I often can't wait for technology to dictate my thoughts. However, I also wonder if we'll ever see that kind of tech on the commercial market.
