The word of the day is: archaeoastronomy.

Okay, so, that was just a test. Medium's spellcheck doesn't know that word, which is surprising considering how many scientific articles I've read and seen on there. Medium doesn't even know the word, heliosphere. Oh, and apparently neither does Author's Den. Weird.

So, I think someone shared my story, Pinkies Are Expensive, on Medium. It has skyrocketed to over one hundred views up from fifteen in about a week.

I would be more excited, however, no one seems to be reading it despite the fact that it is not monetized. This has crushed the read ratio down to 7%. I would think that your 'batting average' would be the most important statistic.

I'm not sure what kind of impact that will have. It might not even be that big of a factor to Medium's algorithm, however, it is a listed statistic.

It makes me wonder what the read ratios would be like on here. The Dawn of Cy-Man just got to 800 views, and I'd love to know how many of you have actually read it.

I also wanted to mention an opportunity that we recently received. Someone offered for us to live on their property up near Steven's Pass here in northern mountains of Washington. We would get to live there rent-free, and we would essentially be a squatter deterrent.

It's right by a river and we have been preparing ourselves for a chance to practice being self-sufficient.

Even though the timing is off for growing season, we are giving it some strong consideration. It would mean being able to give our critters bigger cages, and us some breathing room.

I think we might work on a GoFundMe page to help us move and to get the electricity turned back on. It's going to cost $2,000 just to do that, and there's no way we could afford that.

It's possible that we might have to be without internet for some time. We shall see.

Endingly, I managed to finish up another resources blog, and I forgot to mention that I posted chapter one of book two on Medium which has a better format for reading in my opinion.
