A couple of milestones of note for starters. I'm over 17,000 pageviews now, and S.O.I.L. is just about to hit 800.
I'm always surprised at how many organic readers there are here compared to other places. I'm still hoping that someone will gift me a premium membership on Medium, if that's still a thing.
Speaking of, I published the twelfth issue of my Resources for Fiction Writers blog. I even cover the controversial superconductor, LK-99. A room-temperature superconductor would bring a lot of science fiction to life.
I also updated the cover of CivRisk and fixed the tables in it. The conversion to ebook format jumbled them up and so I turned them into images. It's now on Smashwords and a few of its affiliates.
I'm currently working on chapter three for book two of the Xyphus saga. We have an inspection coming up, so we're tidying up and getting the piggies ready for a trip. We're not supposed to have this many here.
Now, for the serious news. My wife is off to Tacoma today to pick up her mother's ashes. Her and her sister plan to take a boat out to the ocean to spread them there. Luckily, her sister can afford such a trip. We're hoping to have enough to rent a U-haul truck for the piggies when the time comes.
Anywhich, here's hoping you don't have to deal with inspections. They are frustratingly inconsistent here.
