Young, sexy, glamorous, athletic Babe facing 80, unbelievably gets an even newer lease on life without white light and tunnel - yet!

Bury Me Laughing, Already!

Out of nowhere, I’ve a new lease on life and I’ll be damned where it came from. I haven’t seen the light on the white tunnel, but whatever is happening feels like a “last chance” of sorts. I’ll take it!
I am blaming Trump, my mother, my father, my four (4!) ex-husbands, former bosses, my .%$%!* neighbors, doctors or even YOU whom I don’t even know for my life not being just the way I want it, so if the shoe fits, wear it!
I’m pushing 80, don’t look a day over 60 (I’m told) but it ain’t just genes or a coincidence. My pop was bald, as my brothers, mom and sister, so I’m seeing more than one bald spot here and there. So what? What’s left so far is still rocking it and my face fabulous for all the moisturizers and sun blocks my dermo prescribes.
A CA (a glamourous Santa Monica transplant to Boston, I rock its non-glam, if lovely) its deathly brick streets, donning a floppy, white hat and a UV-treated parasol - unlike an old lady but a really well-preserved chick who loves her bones! I get the looks and who cares? I’m used to turning heads – and miss it!
I take care of this carcass, mind and body like nobody’s business because it’s not! A former marathoner (ran 8) and health freak, I bust my chops every day at the gym for hours, count every calorie and work on my God-given brain to keep myself going. God is my best trainer; I’ve gotta give credit where credit is due: My God rocks. Sure as hell, He really rocks for me.
It's taken me 17 years, (17!!) to awaken from the slumber to which I’ve succumbed since arriving in Boston. I overdid the “adjusting” to my new environs, but please! Can’t do it any more. From the start in 2008, I felt as if I’d shifted from 5th gear to 2nd and have been on park ever since.
NO MORE!
Don’t know what, don’t know who, don’t know WHY, but all I know is that I’m AWAKE and ready to give this world the best version of myself – if that’s possible, because it’s always been incomparable.
I’m taking up driving again, brushing up on my French again and skiing this winter. If my knees (after 8 surgeries due to marathons), were up to it, I’d be training for a marathon again. I run in my dreams!
Oh, yes. Did I mention the possibility of dating online? Unreal! Of course, he’d have to be Jewish because I’m what’s known as a JAP (Jewish Princess) which simply means a woman who respects, values herself and doesn’t settle. Why should we, girls?

Good for you! I'm 74 and looking forward to that same kind of boost. Maybe? Like you, I eat healthy, but I don't do any running, just long walks, some yoga. Used to Kayak and ride horses. Good to polish up on your French, I should do that too. And my Spanish! At some point it seems we should just toss all worry aside and go for it!
