Information
The MKC Daughters of Destiny, founded by Miriam K. Center in 1986, was born out of a longing for light and a search for inner peace. The weekly meetings that sprung up were a clear indication that all women share similar issues, no matter where they live. Conversations heard on subways in New York City might be repeated on a bus in Topeka or in a coffee shop in Santa Monica. The issues thread together. We are all links in the same chain and miracles have taken place in the lives of women who have shown the courage and willingness to make a commitment to themselves.

Accomplishments
Miriam K. Center is a native of Savannah, Georgia. She owned and operated her own real estate company before moving to California, where she obtained a Masters Degree in spiritual psychology from the University of Santa Monica. After establishing an initial branch of Daughters of Destiny in Los Angeles, she went on to start others in Ojai, California, Atlanta, and Savannah. She established the Daughters of Destiny Center in Savannah in 2005. She authored and published the novel "Scarlett O'Hara Can Go to Hell" in 2000. Currently, in addition to conducting weekly Daughters of Destiny seminars, she is completing two books of nonfiction.
