Writing from my heart

These words I write come from within, these words I write I do not plan.

These words I write are a prayer. These words I write are my thoughts from the Spirit.

When I write I share the love that I have, I share the joy; I share the gifts that God has given me.

Some times when I am down and out I just start writing and what ever comes out, comes out it is not right or wrong it just is. Writing helps me heal and helps me stay centered with the Spirit.

The words I write some times I repeat because it is something that I may need to remember. The words I write bring joy to my soul the words I write do not come from me. The words I write come from the Spirit that directs me in this wonderful Journey in life.

Some times the words I write rhyme some times they don’t. Some times the words I write are joyful some times there dark.. One thing I have found is the words that I write have always helped me heal.

I write these words not for you, not for me, but I write these words because they dwell inside of me. The words I write they are a gift that God gave me. The words I write are within my soul.

When I read the words that you write it helps me develop my writing skills.

I thank you for the words you write and I am grateful for the words I write.

Thank you God for the gift of writing.

Angela,

Beautiful expression of joy for the Gift God's given you, your words. Well done!

You sure nailed it, Angela: "Thank you God for the gift of writing."

Whether are words are eloquent and well put together or come raw from the Spirit within doesn't matter. Words are a tool we use to communicate and connect with each other and sometimes even with our own self.

You know, one of the great benefits of psythotherapy comes not from magic direction of the therapist but from the fact that in sharing ourselves in words with the therapist, we have taken the pressures "cooking" within and somehow managed to put them into a chain of words and thus get out in the open what has been festering inside. When we do this, we often now see what could not be seen before.

My dear Angela, your words are well spoken truths:
"These words I write come from within, these words I write I do not plan. These words I write are a prayer. These words I write are my thoughts from the Spirit."

Writing is not only wonderful fun and a great adventure but unbelievably effective self-therapy, even when no one reads the writing but ourselves. But when others read what we have written and comment back to us how they feel about the words we have written and how our words have influenced them or broadened their view or helped them get through some troubling time, then that's when writing becomes an unmatched pleasure.

Be pleased, Angela. I have just told you in my words how much your words mean to me. A job well done, girlfriend!
