I know this may be a little dark but just a reminder that love can be eternal...not just a fleeting thing. A tribute to the Grandmother of the Civil Rights Movement, Rosa Parks. God rest her soul... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This was "born" of a poetry challenge with these words... My simple poem goes out to all children with special needs that are misunderstood.
In time, they say all things come clear
I wonder if it’s true?
Will time give us the wisdoms needed
to make the choices that succeeded?
Or is this ju... A somewhat belated response to Joseph''s challenge of last week... NINE more days...I've packed and repacked four times now...I'm driving Karen NUTS!! LOL You take a pen in hand and how quickly it comes to you to jot down things even if it wasn’t your intention. In our house we are on our 14th book of me... Gosh how country is stuck in my head I can''t seem to get any farther then that, sorry. I''ll have to give the guitar a rest. Altzheimers, Dementia, horrible diseases that ravage a person''s mind rendering them helpless and hopeless. Most people are touched by these diseases ... Goodbye, AD. Thank you for nurturing this poet in the last year and for sharing your gifts. This is my wish for each one of you in the coming year-hea... Last year it hurt
to hear the birds sing;
and to see the first flowers
that marked the coming of Spring;
