As fires rage throughout Texas and Oklahoma, I give thanks for the valient efforts of the firemen that were able to save my home. Sampling this idea, not many acrostic have I done so far...

There are many who say the global warming thing is nonsense. They believe the earth is doomed and we play no part. Others believe we are a major par... Just me...painting words of a beautiful evening. I just can't help myself sometimes. I see and feel things some people bypass in haste.

No rain in sight and the temperature is high.
This is about how the rainforest has been destroyed so rich people can have a nice backyard. Trying to make light of a bad situation. Many counties in North Central Texas have had copious amounts of rain this past week. Enough is enough!!!! ... Lately it has been raining in SW Florida almost ever single day. However it''s better to have a mild deluge than a drought. When I see raindrops I think of people. Just wanted to share my poetic vision on raindrops symbolizing a person''s life. (Most of my poems were writte... Nature is Gods gift to man. Man should take care of this wondrous gift. It is rainy today here. I felt compelled to write about it. In books and movies they always use a rainy day when the character has bad news to share... Rain brings a multitide of positive things...Nature allows us this luxury... Visited Campelot on the lake over the weekend...it was magical! I carried away a backpack filled with inspiration! A poem about the beauty of nature, God's gifts, and our ability to enjoy life, if we stop to appreciate our surroundings. Those of you in Texas and the midwest may not appreciate this. It is sad, some are getting far too much rain. Right now we are crying for some of it...
