I enjoy talking about finance and helping everyone with financial issues, both good and bad.  Most of us are destin to acquire wealth and live happy lives, provide for our families and assist our friends financially.  I've been assisting family and friend for over 15 years.  With the recent downturn of the global financial market, I think we need to take a realistic step back and make significant changes to avoid a repeat of this downward spiral.  Kids are the future and we need to secure a solid financial future before passing the torch.  I encourage parents to involve their kids in the financial process to ensure their understanding of the purpose of money.  I wrote this book, to target the middle school students to help them understand and respect money as an exchange tool.  This book transcends the realities of establishing a savings and checking account, credit cards, shopping, college preparation, investing and retirement - to reflect the process kids will encounter as they progress in life.  Thank you - R.
