I am the author of a series of adventure novels titled under the banner of THE KODIAK BOOKS. These are action-oriented tales that follow the exploits of cryptozooligist George Kodiak as he searches the dark and deadly places of the Earth for animal anomalies such as the Sasquatch and Loch Ness Monster. These books are geared toward a general fiction reading audience who enjoys mystery and natural history, and aren't particularly squeamish when things get messy. The first book in the series is WHERE LEGENDS ROAM. It introduces George Kodiak as he is hired by a billionaire entrepeneur to capture a specimen of the Sasquatch for his private zoo in Northern Arizona. NAITAKA is book two, and is the Native American name given a species of lake monster believed to exist in British Columbia's Lake Okanagan. Two years after the horrifying debacle of Where Legends Roam, Kodiak teams up with marine biologist Rocky Labanowski and his daughter Erika, to find and identify the huge creatures taking up residence within the lake. HERETOFORE: UNKNOWN. Book three takes place in Louisiana's Honey Island Swamp which straddles the border between Louisiana and Mississippi and is home to a malevolent creature called the Honey Island Swamp Monster. When police shoot and kill one of these strange animals being kept inside the family mausoleum of a voodoo priestess, Kodiak is summoned to identify the thing by performing a necropsy. When he is unable to figure out what it is, he becomes embroiled in the world of New Orleans voodoo and nearly loses his sanity... and his life.
