I was born in a small town in southeastern Tennessee and now resides in Northern California with his wife and children. My love for writing began when I was very young.   During the early years of my schooling and education, I entered several short story and poetry contests where I ranked very highly among the other contestants. As my education continued, I was often engaged by others to write specific types of letters, articles, compositions, and poetry. My love for writing continued to grow and become more developed over his writing career. I have approximately fifty copywritten lyrics and poems behind me and have now written, illustrated, and published "A New Day's Dawning- "Storms of Light". I am currently working on the writing of my second book of the series "A New Day's Dawning" and look forward to the many more that will follow.
