ABOUT THE AUTHOR   Omar Shabell was born in Brit- Somaliland and after leaving school at an early age, joined the sea as an apprentice navigator and travelled the world over. Later he sold newspapers in Vienna, and held several odd jobs in Zurich and West Berlin before he returned home and  ended up as a freelance journalist writing for radio and newpapers.  however, he dropped writing after he met a stiff confrontation from his family over the course his career was leading, and persued other venues in life.  It was only recently when looking for a poem for a grandson in the basement that he stumpled.over a treasure of half-finsihed novels, plays, short stories, movie scripts and a pile of folk tales of every genre and setting. Since then he developed an urgent desire to complete the unfinished business. He is living with his wife in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and works on the side as a cook in a theatre.                  

He had written countless artciles, stories and books.
