When my daughter Karina was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in her face at the age of 15, she wanted to write a book about her fight with this awful disease. Before she died, two weeks after her 17th birthday, she asked me to fulfil three wishes and one of these was to write a book about her fight and have it published as an inspirational tool for those going through similiar experiences. Therefore, it was Karina who influenced me to write this book in her memory and fulfilling her wish.
