My favorite author is Nicholas Sparks, he weilds this power over his readers, makes them fall in love right along with his characters and even when the endings aren't happy you are forever affected by it. He is my biggest inspiration; knowing that I can write a love story my way and it doesn't even have to have a happy ending for all  involved...there's something almost poetic about it. Real life doesn't always have happy endings and I like to write like that. I like to keep my plots and characters as real as possible. I want people to be able to read my work and say, "You know what, that could really happen," or "Wow, this could be me."
