On August 1, 2010, the first novel by author Carolyn R. Parsons was released by Canadian Publishing Imprint. Distributed on and through the author's own bookstore, BreezeDaze Books, fan reviews have been positive and sales have been impressive. Her second novel, a paranormal romance called The Temptors is set to be released in 2012.

Background Information

As an author I prefer traditional literature.  I list Victoria Holt, Jane Austen, Oscar Wilde and William Shakespeare as my favourite authors.  My more contemporary favourite is Stephen King.   I write from an third/person omniscient point of view almost entirely.  My first love is poetry and my novel showcases my preferances for that genre more than is generally accepted but my publisher seems to think it sets me apart.

Birth Place
Change Islands,  Canada

Published novel, The Secrets of Rare Moon Tickle. Published poetry book, Wind Rhymes; Poetry from the Breeze, Contributor to Goodbye Billie Jean; The Meaning of Michael Jackson, and [WORD]. First novel scheduled for publication August 1, 2010.

Additional Information

I work as a television reporter for a local news magazine, I've been interviewed by local media about my poetry book, and on an international radio program for women.
