I believe laughter is the best medicine and that is reflected in my writing. I write to entertain myself; hopefully I do well to entertain you too. My motto is: You deserve a laugh or two. And my books will give you more than that.

Two years ago, to show support for our armed services and to provide a measure of entertainment, Hank put together a collection of ten humorous short stories, all previously published, for the troops to read. The collection is called Tales For The Troops. After setting up a dedicated website to help distribute the collection, he sent out hundreds of snail mail letters to individuals giving them a link to download the stories. He also sent out innumerable emails with the collection attached.

For his efforts, late last year the US Army sent a him a letter thanking him for his contribution. The letter was signed by the Army Chief of Staff and the Secretary of the Army. Hank also received a Certificate of Appreciation at the same time.
