Normal 0 The author, Richard Bobo, was stuck with this unfortunate name at birth.  You probably thought it was one of those witty aliases, right? Nope. He went through childhood with that (Dick Bobo!), and therefore, was forced to develop a warped sense of humor as a basic survival skill. This by no means implies that the sense of humor has been coupled with talent.  It simply means that the author has a sense of humor that can appreciate twisted laughs, and it is theoretically possible that he could produce some entertainment of this nature.  OK.  Enough with the third person baloney.  I’m writing this myself since opinions vary, and I usually prefer my own.  Besides, I can’t afford to bribe a reviewer… yet (please, contact me with rates if you are a reputable reviewer).  I have spent many years doing technical work as a systems development engineer (testing, software and requirements work – yeah, I’ve been busy), hence, the pseudo technical theme and geeky style.  I realized that authors often get to sleep in, they are largely self reliant, they can work in their pajamas, they are fairly immune to job lay-offs, and they can deduct expenses for trips to exotic tropical places as research spending for income taxation purposes.  Wow! I was all over this.  Dark humor has an edge to it that adds to its intensity, and as a new author, I figure I can use all the leverage that I can get so I went this way.
