I'm a 3D Artist/Animator/Composer. I write for the fun of it, whenever I feel I have something worthwhile to say. A major influence is the poetry of Charles Bukowski. I do lots of storm chasing/dust devil chasing in the deserts of Southern California in the summer. Much of my poetry deals with my impressions of these times and life in general. I tend to write when there's conflict going on in my life, as opposed to when things are going great. I find that when things are happy, I just don't have much to say... I began writing poetry the night after my jeep was reposessed. I'd been out of work for a while and couldn't make the payment. So, to make sense of the situation, I thought I'd write about it. I had been reading Bukowski for quite a while and so I took my cue from him. Now I write whenever I get the chance.
