For 3 years I dreamed of writing a book. And then I did. Although a long, intense process, it was wonderful creating characters, people that looked the way I wanted them to, spoke and acted the way I decided they should. It felt amazing, exhilarating. I saw a sweater one day with the words ‘Watch this face… I’m gonna be famous’ emblazoned across the front of it. I bought it and wore it proudly. I had dreams, big dreams. I read somewhere that you should only write about what you know. With that in mind I started Stalked with my past life in mind. No, I’m not talking about my last life, I mean my past life. The life I lived before I got divorced. The main character in Stalked, Bianca de Lange, is based on the old me. As her journey continues some of it mirrors mine but mostly, it is her own… What do I try to do with my writing? I try to be a magician, a storyteller, a friend and a teacher.
