I grew up in Meadville Pennsylvania. I always had an active imagination and made up stories all the time. We lived int he country and since I was an only child for 7 years, I was lonely. I often thought up stories in my head to entertain myself. It's funny but I still do that even though I am 52 years old now. I love reading. I read everyday. I have an editing business. She received her BA in Psychology/English from the University of Pennsylvania in 1982. She studied for her first graduate degree in English Literature in 1983 at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 2000 she completed a second graduate degree, in Applied Linguistics (Teaching English as a Second Language) at the University of Surrey. She has tutored hundreds of students in English as a Second Language since 1982. Kimberly has written and published numerous professional papers in the field of Applied Linguistics and several chapters in published books, including To Japan with Love: A Travel Guide for the Connoisseur (2009) and Saturdays with Lillian (2010). She has written and published many short stories and poetry in literary journals. Kimberly currently works as an editor at the business she founded in 2004, English Writing Help, Inc. which specializes in editing books and academic and scientific writing for professional researchers.
