TOP 10 on Amazon Kindle Sci-Fi charts UK and TOP 35 (USA) with GAME OF JUSTICE (Dec 2011) ALL author's Kindle books now available for FREE borrowing to Amazon Prime customers in the Kindle Owners Lending Library.   Ever since I was a child, I wanted to write stories.  I am thankful to my school, that encouraged me to do so.  There I had the opportunity to write and read aloud my stories, whether it was to my class or to the whole school in general, and pursue the goal of what I wanted to be 'When I grew up'. The onslaught of the real academic pursuits as I approached my teenage years meant that my childhood dreams of writing stories faded into the background and became dormant.  I then entered the world of work in the administration and accountancy sector, until I was struck by a life changing event.  In mid 1998, I suffered a severe period of ill health that caused me to lose my job on medical grounds.  It was later diagnosed as Menieres.  Whilst in my recovery period, I needed something to occupy my mind.  Salvation was found when my writing dream was revived by enrolling onto Creative Writing courses. After a long journey of torture and self doubt, and wondering whether I would make the grade as a published writer or to suffer the constant rejection of the publishers/agents and magazine editors, a conclusion arose.  My perseverance, and the hard work I put in on these Creative Writing courses to master my craft, and attain writing qualications allowed me eventually to succeed, with the publication of my debut book 'Early Memory' (a crime thriller) by an American Publisher in January 2006.  The general feedback and sales of the book had been very positive, to the point that I have continued as 'An Author' with the release of other books.  I had also made a return back to the REAL world of work on a part time basis. The majority of those who seek to become an author NEVER get that book done, either because they gave up too easily on the tough journey, or because they do not have enough faith in their ability to achieve their dreams.  In 30 years time, they may say, 'If Only...' and reflect on what could have been.  Thankfully, I am more of a positive person, who believed that it was my destiny.  I already have ideas for other books, all written down on paper, waiting to see the light of day! I write a range of genres and over the coming years hope to continue my quest in gaining a wider readership for my works.  I also hope that you as my audience will share in my future successes, and for this union between author and reader to be a fruitful rewarding partnership.  So sit back, enjoy and HAPPY READING!

Jun 2005 - Open College Network qualifications gained at Level 1 & 2 for Creative Writing.

Aug 2006 - Certificate of Commendation awarded by The Writers' Bureau.

Jan 2007 - A poem 'Oppressing The Signs' won the Independant Authors website monthly Poetry Competition.

Apr 2007 - An article 'Independant Attitudes' was published in The Self Publishing Magazine.

Jun 2007 - A short Story 'The Golden Shot' included in a collection titled 'Perceiving British Culture Through The Might Of Words' published by the Balti State University 'Alecu Russo' in Moldova for academic use in the English Reading Comprehension classes.

Jul 2009 - First TV interview for deaf programme 'Wicked'.

Dec 2011 - TOP 10 on Amazon Kindle Sci-Fi charts UK and TOP 35 USA for GAME OF JUSTICE.
