I have Associate 2 degrees in Engineering Technology and have been in high-tech and manufacturing all of my life. I could never seem to find a position that would allow me to use all of my talents, I was always confined or restrictred. I was used to building, creating, improving things using many different methods and materials, wood, metal, circuitry, electricity, but I could never do what I wanted to or do it the way I wanted to. Then I started thinking, I can do all of those things and I can do it my way. By writing I am now building and creating the things I want to, but in a different way. Instead of using metal or wood or fiberglass I am building using words and ideas. I am creating the things that make me happy and in the way that I think they should be I am creating a better world and better people and in so doing perhaps I am also teaching, which is something else I've wanted to do but never could.
