Information
Perhaps the biggest influence in Henry's life was his upbringing in Fayetteville, NC, home of the world's largest Army base, the Crips and Bloods gangs, major drug lords, and lots of prostitutes (not to mention acres of trailer parks). Henry took from Fayetteville a fascination with crime, which he used to great effect as a reporter and now uses in his fiction.
